Lucinda Brand's winning streak continues! She's absolutely crushing it in the cyclocross world, and her recent performance at the X2O Trofee in Hofstade is proof. Brand, representing Baloise Glowi Lions, has just clinched her ninth consecutive victory, solidifying her dominance in the sport. This win also significantly strengthens her lead in the overall classification within Belgium.
On a challenging, sandy course that tested the riders' skills, Brand took charge right from the start. From the very first of six laps, she established her dominance, leaving the competition in her dust. While the race for second place saw a spirited battle between Shirin van Anrooij, also from Baloise Glowi Lions, and Manon Bakker of Crelan-Corendon, Brand was largely untouchable.
But here's where it gets interesting... This level of consistent success begs the question: What's her secret? Is it her training, her bike, or a combination of factors?
