Ant and Dec are taking legal action against an art consultant and dealer over alleged 'secret profits' in their Banksy deals. The TV personalities claim that an intermediary took unauthorized profits from their transactions, and they are seeking information about the deals to uncover the truth. According to Ant and Dec, they paid £550,000 for a set of Banksy works, but the seller only received £300,000. They also have concerns about a substantial sum missing from the sale of 22 items. The pair are asking a High Court judge to issue a court order to force the art dealer and consultant to hand over information about the transactions. Ant and Dec enlisted the consultant, referred to as X in court, to help them buy, sell, and loan artworks as they built up a contemporary art collection. They now want to uncover the truth behind these transactions and the whereabouts of any missing money. The judge will rule on Wednesday on whether to order the disclosure and lift an interim anonymity order covering X's identity.
